K5 is the Korean name for the Optima
Kia sold the K5 abroad as the Optima until 2020, when the DL3 generation took the K5 name worldwide. The auction carries the JF (2015–2019) and the DL3 (2019 onwards, facelifted in 2023), the fastback design with the tiger-nose lights.
Korean DL3 engines: a 2.0 MPI petrol, a 1.6 T-GDI, a 2.0 hybrid and a 2.0 LPG; Gulf K5s use the 2.5 petrol. The 2.0 MPI is the closest match; the 1.6 turbo is the popular private-owner choice in Korea.
What to check before you bid
