Carnival generations in the Korean auction
The listings are mainly the YP (2014–2020) and the KA4 (2020 onwards, facelifted in 2023 with the new front and the twin 12.3-inch screens). The KA4 is also the Carnival sold in the Gulf.
Korean KA4 engines: a 2.2 CRDi diesel, a 3.5 GDI V6 petrol and, since the facelift, a 1.6 turbo hybrid; there is also a 3.5 LPG. Gulf Carnivals are the 3.5 petrol, so that is the matching version. Korea sells it with 7, 9 or 11 seats; the 9-seater is the family favourite there, and the Hi-Limousine is the high-roof version.
What to check before you bid
Carnivals are family cars but also common in Korean shuttle and chauffeur fleets, usually the 9- or 11-seat diesel; the inspection report shows the usage history. Confirm the seat count and layout from the listing photos, since the 7-seat version has the reclining second-row Relaxation seats.
