Palisade in the Korean auction
The Palisade launched in Korea at the end of 2018 (the LX2) and was refreshed in 2022 with the new grille and the 12.3-inch screens. Korea sells it with a 3.8 GDI V6 petrol and a 2.2 CRDi diesel, in 7- and 8-seat layouts, with the Calligraphy trim at the top.
The diesel is the volume seller in Korea; the 3.8 petrol is the one Gulf buyers want, because it matches the Gulf-spec Palisade and petrol is the norm there. Both are listed, so filter by fuel type on the auction page.
What to check before you bid
Palisades are family cars in Korea, rarely fleet cars, so usage history is usually private. Check the inspection report for panel replacements at the rear (parking damage is the common repair on a car this size) and confirm the seat count, since 7- and 8-seat versions have different second rows.
The Calligraphy trim (quilted Nappa leather, ventilated second-row seats, the ergonomic driver's seat) and the AWD (HTRAC) option carry the premium at resale.
