Grandeur is the Korean name for the Azera
Hyundai's flagship sedan in Korea is the Grandeur, sold in the Gulf as the Azera. The auction carries two generations in volume: the IG (2016–2022, facelifted in 2019 as The New Grandeur) and the GN7 (2022 onwards), the long, pillar-less design with the full-width LED lighting.
IG engines: 2.4 GDI, 3.0 GDI, 3.3 GDI, a 2.4 hybrid and a 3.0 LPG. The GN7 moved to a 2.5 GDI, a 3.5 GDI, a 1.6 turbo hybrid and a 3.5 LPG. The 3.3 and 3.5 V6 petrols are the versions Gulf buyers ask for; the hybrids are the most common private-owner cars in Korea.
What to check before you bid
The Grandeur is Korea's executive and company car, so many listings are low-mileage, single-owner cars kept on a dealer service history; others are LPG fleet cars. The inspection report shows both the usage history and the fuel type.
Trims matter for resale: the Calligraphy trim (both generations) has the Nappa leather, the 12.3-inch screens and the full driver-assistance set. The report's panel section is where to look for front-end repairs on IG cars.
Why the Korean Grandeur makes sense for the Gulf
Korean Grandeur trims are richer than the Azera trims sold through Gulf dealers, and the V6 petrol cars share engines with the Gulf Azera, so service is routine. It ships as a sedan-size car, so the calculator's freight rates apply directly.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a used Hyundai Grandeur in Korea?
Most Hyundai Grandeur cars in the Korean auction right now (80% of listings) are priced between $4,130 and $23,841, with a median of $11,957 — half cost $11,957 or less. These are auction prices in Korea before shipping and customs; the exact price depends on year, mileage and trim.
Is the Grandeur the same car as the Azera?
Yes. Grandeur is its Korean-market name and Azera the name buyers in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf know it by — it is the same model. Korean-market equipment can differ from Gulf-spec cars, so check each car's specification in the inspection report and photos we send before you buy.
How much does it cost to import a Hyundai Grandeur from Korea to Saudi Arabia?
As an indicative example at our calculator rates for a sedan-size car (updated 2026-07), a Hyundai Grandeur at the median auction price of $11,957 comes to about $14,405 to Jeddah on the Red Sea or $14,205 to Dammam on the Arabian Gulf. That covers the car, Korean export fees, sea freight and our service commission; it excludes Saudi Arabia's customs duties, taxes and port clearance, which your customs broker handles on arrival. Enter any car's price in the import cost calculator, then we send you a final written quote on WhatsApp.
Calculate import costHow long does shipping a Hyundai Grandeur from Korea to Saudi Arabia take?
Sailing from Busan to Jeddah or Dammam takes about 25–35 days depending on the shipping line, plus 3–5 days for export de-registration and preparation in Korea and the clearance days at the arrival port. You can ship RoRo (cheaper and faster to load) or in a container (more protection).
Importing from Korea to Saudi Arabia: full guideDoes a Korean-market Hyundai Grandeur meet Saudi Arabia's import requirements?
That depends on the specific car and on the rules in force when you import: requirements such as vehicle age and specification differ by country and change over time. So before you pay, we confirm the current requirements for the exact car you choose, and we prepare the export certificate, commercial invoice, bill of lading and inspection report your customs broker uses to clear it on arrival.
Can I inspect a Hyundai Grandeur before buying?
Yes — we send the official inspection report and all photos, and an additional independent inspection can be arranged before payment.
Is the Grandeur the same as the Azera?
Yes. Grandeur is the Korean-market name; the same car is sold in the Gulf as the Hyundai Azera. The IG and GN7 generations are the current ones in the auction.
Hybrid or V6 Grandeur for the Gulf?
The 3.3 or 3.5 V6 petrol matches the Gulf Azera and is the easiest to service. The hybrids are plentiful and cheaper to run, but hybrid battery service in the Gulf depends on your local Hyundai dealer.
