GV80 in the Korean auction
The GV80 was the first Genesis SUV, launched in Korea in January 2020 and facelifted in 2023, when the GV80 Coupe was added. Korean engines are the 2.5 turbo and 3.5 turbo V6 petrols and, until the facelift, a 3.0 six-cylinder diesel. Five- and seven-seat versions were sold.
Genesis sells the GV80 in the Gulf with the 2.5T and 3.5T petrol engines, so both Korean petrol versions match for service and parts.
What to check before you bid
GV80s are executive and family cars with dealer service history, and the inspection report usually shows a single owner. Confirm the seat count, the engine and the options: the 3.5T, the 22-inch wheels, the rear-seat comfort package and the Lexicon audio are what Gulf buyers pay more for.
Many early Korean GV80s are 3.0 diesels: filter by fuel type on the auction page if you want petrol.
